A total of 352 outstanding high school students, 22 high school teachers and 35 parents from Lingcheng District No. 1 Middle School, Tai'an Experimental Middle School and Tai'an No. 2 Middle School in Dezhou City made the Centennial Agricultural University in July more vibrant and energetic.
On July 13, the 2024 Summer Outstanding High School Student Research Activity, sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs and undertaken by the School of Chemistry, the College of Agriculture, and the College of Biological Sciences, was officially launched at the Daizong Campus. Feng Guoying, Director of the Office of Student Work, Song Wei, Deputy Director, Chen Jiahui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Xu Jing, Dean of the School of Chemistry, Xie Zhixin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Li Yong, Vice Dean of the College of Agriculture, Zheng Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Biological Sciences, and Gao Zheng, Vice Dean of the School of Biology attended the event. Under the leadership of the school's teachers and student volunteers, the teachers, students and parents of Lingcheng No. 1 Middle School, Tai'an Experimental Middle School and Tai'an No. 2 Middle School were divided into 6 groups and successively visited the school's scientific research laboratory, the school history museum and the National Key Laboratory of Wheat Breeding.
During the event, the School of Chemistry and the teachers of the chemistry course of Lingcheng No. 1 Middle School held a seminar on the articulation of chemistry teaching from high school to college, and the teachers of Lingcheng No. 1 Middle School who taught chemistry courses, the dean of the college, the director of the major and the teachers of the Department of Basic Chemistry participated in the activity, and the vice dean Zhu Shuhua presided over the meeting.
